Mrs. Dean was born in Baird and worked as a
self-employed seamstress for many years. She was the widow of Ernest Herbert
"Hub" Dean, whom she married in 1923 in Paint Rock.
Survivors include two sons, Herbert H. Dean
and Bill Dean, both of Ballinger; one daughter, Martha Palmer of Ballinger; one
sister, Ada Wilson of Greenwood, Miss.; four grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.

in 1936. He helped raise Rambouillet sheep and Black Angus cattle near
Millersview and Paint Rock before moving to Ballinger in 1948. He also ranched
near
Eden
.
He was a member of Paint Rock Masonic Lodge
and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was a past Rotarian club president
and served on the
Runnels
County
school board for many years. He also was a director of the
Ballinger
Memorial
Hospital
for several years and was an honorary member of
the hospital's auxiliary. He was a life member of the Texas Sheep and Goat
Raisers Association and was a past board chairman of Paint Rock First State
Bank. He was a longtime leader of the Ballinger Downtown Bible Class. He was an
elder and board member of First Christian Church in Ballinger and taught Sunday
school for many years. He also was a member of First Christian Church in
San Angelo
.
Survivors include his wife, of

; one daughter, Pamela Price Murfee of Lubbock;
and four grandchildren.

to James Pearce Gary and Eva
Mae Phillips. Mr. Gary was a direct descendant of Davy Crockett and a member of
a long line of west
Texas
ranchers.
At age 25 Bill met and married
Marlene Thomas of
Ft.
Worth
. Together they raised 5
children.
Always dedicated to family and
hard work, Bill moved his family around
Texas
ranching and working at
various jobs, but eventually returned to his roots in the west
Texas
area where he spent the last
26 years ranching in Coleman and Concho counties.
Survivors include his wife,
Marlene Gary of Goldsboro, his sons, Bill Gary of Midlothian, TX, Odis Gary and
wife, Julie of Ballinger, and Jason Gary and wife, Beth of Ft. Worth; 2
daughters, Jacqueline Gary and Charlie Turner of Noodle, TX, and Kaylene and Jim
Lavene of Rockwall, TX; grandchildren, Brittany Gary of Oakland, CA, Lauren and
Landon Lavene of Rockwall, TX, Megan Gary of Midlothian, TX, Meagan Knisley of
Ft. Worth and Jarod Knisley of Virginia Beach, VA. Mr. Gary is also survived by
a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

where she met the love of her
life, Roy W. Lee, who preceded her in death
March 5, 1980
. They were married on
June 22, 1936

.
Kate worked for Dry's Manufacturing in Winters for several years and made many
delicious hamburgers for Jumbo Burger in Ballinger where she worked until she
was 82 years old. Kate was a member of
Seventh
Street
Baptist
Church
in Ballinger for many years.
Also preceding her in death were: sister "Big Sister"; brothers Shep,
J.P., Gordon, and Wallace; sisters Dorothy King and Mary Moore; her father and
mother Seth and
Florence
Robinson; grandparents James and Nannie Blount,
George and Kate Robinson; son-in-law Warren Hedrick; father and mother-in-law
John and Valera Lee.
Survivors include: a son, Freddie Lee of Ballinger; three daughters, Carolyn
Martin and husband Billy Joe of Lake Ivie, Donna Hedrick, and Anne Rogers and
husband Gene of Tuscola; brother W.E. "Dub" Robinson and wife Jearetta
of Ballinger, brother-in-law John Moore of Ballinger, sister-in-law Lorrene Lee
of Ballinger; special sister-in-law Jennie Margaret Lee of Abilene; 15
grandchildren, including one grandson, Ricky Clark, who was raised as a son; 36

Dorothy was a loving wife and
mother before she began her career for Johnson and Johnson (Ethicon) in
San Angelo
. She was known and loved by
many friends and co-workers she made during the 20-plus years before she
retired.
Dorothy came from a family of
15 and is survived by two sisters; Frances Harrison of
San Angelo
and
Helen
(Cricket) Morris of
Houston
. She has always expressed her
love and appreciation for her many brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews
and other relatives on both the Gray and Joiner family branches.
Dorothy is survived by: 4
daughters and 2 sons, Kay and Robert Russell of Winters, Gary and Jullie Gray of
Fort Worth, Debra and
Jack
ey Clough of North Richland
Hills, Tommie Gray Jr. and Christine Willsey of Granbury, Carol and Johnny Yates
of Abilene, Pamela and Randal Barnes of Winters; 12 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren and she looked forward with great anticipation to each and
every visit.
Your family and friends will
grieve from your physical absence but will continue to thrive on your loving
memories.

Jacoby Kohutek, age 76, of Bradshaw, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed
to her heavenly home on

She was born on
January 22, 1930
in
Eden
,
Texas
, and graduated from
Eden
High School
. She attended Texas Women's
College in
Denton
. She married Al Kohutek on
November 5, 1951
at St. Charles Catholic Church in
Eden, having a double wedding ceremony with her twin sister Mae and Marvin
Hoelscher. She worked at Timex and Texas Instruments. They lived in Ballinger
and
Abilene
and retired to Bradshaw. She
enjoyed softball, dancing, hunting and fishing, quilting, gathering pecans,
raising
Chihuahuas
, and sharing her canned wild plum
jelly with everyone she knew. She loved being with her dog Jaggar. She was a
member of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church of Winters.
She is survived by her husband: Al Kohutek of Bradshaw; 2 sons and 2 daughters:
Greg Kohutek and wife, Vickie of Buffalo Gap, Michael Kohutek and wife, Lori of
Abilene, Brenda Holland and husband, Benny of Fulshear and Rhonda Behrens and
husband, Joe of College Station; 5 brothers: Henry Jacoby, Rector Jacoby,
Chester Jacoby, and Dan Jacoby of Melvin and Johnny Jacoby of Brady; 11
grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Lola Kruse Jacoby, her twin
sister, Mae Hoelscher Woods, and 2 infant daughters.
Family visitation will be held at
6:00 p.m.
on Monday with a rosary at
7:00 p.m.
at the Winters Funeral Home. Mass
will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with Rev.
Santiago Udayar and Rev. Louis Miller officiating.
Burial will be in
Lemons
Gap
Cemetery
under the direction of the
Winters Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Bo Holland, Cory Kohutek, Kendall Kohutek, Cullen Kohutek,
Benny Hoelscher and Gail Wood.

Jessie was born

to John Fredrick Thomas and
Callie Lloyd Thomas. She attended grade school in Noodle,
Abilene
and Tye and high school in San
Saba and Richland Springs. Her senior year she moved to Noodle and graduated
from
Noodle
High School
. There she met Wilson Williams
and they married on
June 11, 1938
. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Wilson. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Texas Tech bookstore
and library. She was a member of the
Church
of
Christ
.
She is survived by children Jane Williams Gamble and husband Joe Don of
Friendswood, Steve Williams and wife Kay of Waco, and Gayle Williams Millican
and husband Terry of Rowlett; grandchildren Joel Gamble of Fayetteville, AR,
David Gamble and wife Melanie of Arlington, Jessamy Millican Boyd and husband
Bill of Raleigh, NC, Travis Millican of Rowlett, and Garrett & Grant
Williams of Waco. She was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers,
and is survived by one sister, Polly Amason of
Abilene
.

Jessie. They especially thank the center wing staff who cared for her every day.
